French toast is one of my favorite things to have for breakfast. The sweet and savory flavors are two things that I love. To put a twist on it I turned it into a casserole for a brunch I was having and boy it was a hit. It's easy to make and your guest will love it.

Ingredients

  • 2 loaves of Brioche bread
  • 8 eggs
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • Vanilla
  • Cinnamon
  • Brown sugar
  • Berries
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Cut bread into cubes and fill a greased 9x13 baking dish. You can use other breads but I prefer using brioche because of the sweet flavor it already has.
  2. In a large bowl , mix together the eggs, cinnamon , milk, vanilla and brown sugar together.
  3. Pour mixture over bread, cover with saran wrap.
  4. Place dish in the refrigerator for about 1 hr, or over night. Allow bread to soak up all the liquid.
  5. Remove from the fridge and bake in a 350 degree oven for about 35-40 mins.
  6. Remove from the oven and top with fresh berries and powdered sugar.
  7. Enjoy!
